This platform is a social entrepreneurship initiative by Jaiveer to help the local marginalised Farmer/ Dairy community of his area. Cow & Crop has enabled innumerable farmers in tapping the urban households of the Tricity for their daily needs. The proceeds from this platform go to the farmers and a part of it is used to conduct Farmer Awareness Camps and to combat issues related to Farmer Suicides in India as well as for ‘Humara Basta’.

Cow and Crop
Cow & Crop is an e commerce app founded by 16 year old Jaiveer Makkar from Chandigarh operating within the Tricity of Chandigarh, Panchkula and Mohali. At Cow & Crop we supply ONLY organic Dairy and Farm produce at your doorstep while using the Pay on Delivery option. All the fruits/vegetables offered here are indigenously grown by the local farmers and their families on their small land holdings in the villages around Chandigarh. Organic fresh milk/ milk products are also available through self owned/ self managed local Dairy farms of the area. All products available on Cow & Crop are completely Pesticide / Chemical Free.

We regularly organize interactive meetings and awareness camps where farmers can directly engage with senior scientists from the prestigious National Dairy Research Institute (NDRI, Karnal), empowering them with knowledge and resources for sustainable farming practices.
